The organization operates in full compliance with the laws and regulations of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. 1. Registration under the NGO Affairs Bureau SEDAD is registered with the NGO Affairs Bureau under the Foreign Donation Regulation Act, Prime Minister’s Office, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. Registration No.: 2414 Date of Registration: 26 February 2009 Legal Authority: NGO Affairs Bureau, Prime Minister’s Office, DhakaThis registration authorizes SEDAD to receive and utilize foreign donations and grants for implementing development programs across Bangladesh. 2. Registration under the Department of Social Services SEDAD is also registered under the Social Welfare Act with the Department of Social Services, Ministry of Social Welfare, Government of Bangladesh. Registration No.: Dha-03073 Date of Registration: 23 March 1994This registration enables SEDAD to operate as a recognized social welfare organization, implementing community-based programs focusing on disability, women’s empowerment, education, and rehabilitation. 3.
