The Socio Economic Development Association for Disable (SEDAD) recognizes that active and committed membership is crucial for the success of its programs and the achievement of its mission. Membership in SEDAD provides individuals the opportunity to participate in the organization’s activities, contribute to its development initiatives, and support the empowerment of persons with disabilities.
SEDAD values a diverse and inclusive membership base that brings together professionals, advocates, community leaders, volunteers, and persons with disabilities to collectively work toward social change, disability rights, and sustainable development.
Types of Membership
- General Members:
Individuals who support SEDAD’s objectives and are willing to actively participate in organizational activities. General members are entitled to attend meetings, vote on organizational matters, and contribute to community programs. - Executive Committee Members:
Elected or appointed members responsible for strategic decision-making, governance, and oversight of SEDAD’s activities. The executive committee ensures that the organization functions efficiently and in alignment with its mission. - Advisory Council Members:
Experts and volunteers who provide guidance, technical advice, and mentorship to the organization. The advisory council helps in planning, monitoring, and evaluating programs for effectiveness and sustainability. - Beneficiary Members:
Persons with disabilities and their families who directly benefit from SEDAD programs. Their involvement ensures that the organization remains responsive to the real needs of its target groups.
